Will people be able to tell I’ve had something done?

Many of our clients ask the same thing!  Basically, friends and family will notice you look great but can’t quite pinpoint why. That’s the beauty of subtle, refined treatments.

If everything is subtle, will I even notice a difference?

Great question! 
Yes—you’ll notice, and so will the people closest to you. The changes are often described as “I look like me, just fresher.” It’s less about looking different and more about looking like the best version of yourself—smoother skin, better light reflection, more balance, and a softer, more relaxed expression, better definition. Friends might say you look well-rested, confident, glowing, or fabulous, without realising you’ve had treatment.

I feel like my face doesn’t match how I feel inside—tired, sad, even stern. Can treatments help with that?

I’ve seen scary stories online—how safe are these treatments really?

When performed by a trained medical professional in a safe setting, dermal fillers, anti-wrinkle injections, and skin boosters are considered very safe. We use premium products, follow evidence-based practice, and always prioritise safety.
We discuss all treatments with you fully - the pros and the cons, the risks and the rewards, and all the options: and unless you are happy with what you hear, and feel confident, we do not proceed - we find a different option for you.

How do I know which treatment is right for me?

We start with a detailed consultation, assess your skin and facial structure, and can recommend the best options and how that can look treatments wise, based on your goals.

Question 7

What’s it like straight after treatment? Am I going to look crazy walking out?

Accepted Answer

You’ll walk out looking like yourself. Depending on the treatment, you may have some redness or swelling, and sometimes a small bruise or two.
Generally nothing that stops you from carrying on with your day, however makeup is not advised for at least 12 hours (to guard against infection), so that is something to bear in mind.
Most people feel comfortable going straight back to into normal life, however if you think you may not feel comfortable doing that, then you would make an appointment at a time where you could go directly home if you wanted to.

How do these treatments fit with ageing naturally? I don’t want to erase every line or the essence of who I am.

We agree. Ageing is natural, as is who you are irrespective of your age, and our philosophy is not about removing every sign of it or correcting every imperfection — it’s about supporting you to age and be as you would like. 
Think glow, balance, and confidence, not perfection. 
"Ageing gracefully" is a term we hear a lot: what that means is different to every person.

Do treatments hurt?

The answer to that question is... 
Yes, to a degree - most clients describe the feeling as small pinches or pressure, some find they don't really feel much at all. Many products contain local anaesthetic, and we use techniques to make the process as comfortable as possible.  Topical numbing cream is excellent for senstivie areas like the lips.  And in general even just the application of ice makes a difference.  
In our experience, it is often the worry about it being super painful that is worse than the treatment itself: especially when it is your first treatment.
